iOS/iPhone - No push-notification for received notification

Hi,

I'm using the PushSafer App on my iPhone (iPhone 8, iOS 14.4.1). My phone is set up as an active device on the pushsafer website.

Usually, the system is working and I'm receiving my push notification. (i.e. the notification appears in the app and the push notification is shown by iOS). At some point, the system stops to work. In particular, the notification still appears in the app but no push notification sound/widget is shown from iOS.

I could only resolve the issue so far by restarting my mobile phone. This is super annoying since I'm never sure if push-notifications are silently failing.
I tried so far:
- running/not running pushsafer app in the background
- turning on/off flight-mode, silent mode, bluetooth
- Pushsafer has all iOS rights for notifications

Any ideas what might cause the push notifications to sporadically fail?

Hi Andreas,

please try to reinstall the app.

Follow these steps:
- delete your device from your pushsafer dashboard
- delete Pushsafer from iPhone
- restart iphone
- install pushsafer
- register your device

Please post a screenshot of your pushsafer app settings.
