After years of flawless service, today my IOS devices have started playing the loud Horn (Alarm 4) sound instead of my previously selected chime and doorbell alert sounds.

I use E-mail Aliases for simplicity's sake.

Has something changed or is this a temporary glitch in the system?

What I do should I do to get my chime and doorbell alert sounds back?

I see "2025-06-13 The way Pushsafer sends push notifications has been adjusted so that the alias parameters are only used if they were not submitted via email or API."

Is there a way to regain the function of having individual chimes for different events using the PushSafer app on IOS?

you also can use individual sounds with an alias key.
Pass the parameter s within the api or email.

Take a look at the api documentation or if you use our email gateway to send push notifications you can use the email generator in your dashboard > send a notification > Create E-mail address.
