Delayed notifications on Android (Samsung S8)

I converted to PushSafer from Pushalot on Windows 10 Mobile, and it was great! PushSafer was extremely fast and ALWAYS reliable.
However, my Lumia 950 was dying, and as there's no newer Windows 10 Mobile handsets, I got a Samsung S8.

Now, most my notifications are received instantly, but some aren't. It's like the phone is sleeping and therefore is not processing notifications. Very annoying.

Is it the app or is there something else I can do about it?

great to hear, that you like pushsafer.
With Android under certain characteristics (hardware, installed software, OS) it can come to such issuses.
