When I receive an alert on my phone, it is almost unreadable because all the macro settings come with it:

How can I clean this up? What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

from where you send the pushsafer push-notification?
What you use: Pushsafer API, E-Mail Gateway or a URL/Link so send the push-notification?

Kind Regards
Kevin

From the Dashboard, I use the Send A Notification section to configure the parameters, the click the Create a Link to generate, then copy and paste this into the cameras alert section. It works great, but it shows all the extra verbage I don't need.

Hi gain,

can you post the link/url without your private key and device id.

From where you call the link/url to send the push-notification?

Kevin

By the way. I love this service. The best thing is after I downloaded the app on my phone, I get almost instant notification of an alert from one of my cameras.! :)

Yes. I have concluded that Blue Iris garbles the message. I do a test from the dashboard on pushsafer, and it comes through fine. I do a test from Blue Iris and it garbles it.

Please delete the parameter m for message includes value from the url in Blue Iris.
And use the POST text field in Blue Iris for the message text.

SO the menu options have changed in BI for the alerts section, doesnt match the screenshots When you use the generated link from the PS dashboard it garbles the message like the OP says, so if you try and remove the &m section the whole notification stops working, I believe this is a hard restriction in the PS side as you cannot generate a link without including a message. I just started using this so I am not an expert but just thought id post my findings. I have the notifications showing but I am still figuring out how to get the thumbnail image of the alerted camera to carry over along with the ability to click the notification and have it take me to the camera in BI, or something along those lines.
